The only positive part of this stay was the front desk employee, who was kind and professional. She was the only redeeming aspect of an otherwise unacceptable experience.
The room had a strong, overwhelming odor of mold and stale cigarette smoke. Within a few hours, my throat, eyes, and lungs became irritated. The air quality was so poor that I ultimately had to leave in the middle of the night because I felt physically unwell.
The AC unit repeatedly beeped throughout the night, and when turned off to stop the noise, the room became unbearably hot.
The condition of the room was deeply concerning. There were unpatched holes in the walls, visible dirt throughout, and mold on the lampshade. Everything felt poorly maintained and unsanitary. My clothes absorbed the smell so severely that I had to wash everything immediately upon returning home.
There was also constant door slamming from neighboring rooms late into the night, making rest impossible.
No guest should have to choose between staying in an unhealthy environment or driving home after midnight because the room is uninhabitable.
I cannot recommend this property. Basic cleanliness, air quality, and maintenance are not unreasonable expectations.
