When we checked in, the receptionist was on a personal phone call. Even after ending the call, she kept her earpiece in and began texting, barely acknowledging me at first. After checking in, we brought our things to the room and immediately noticed several issues: the sink was broken, the room had an unpleasant odor, a light switch didn’t work, and the door had a large crack as if it had been forced open. We requested to switch rooms, which the staff accommodated without issue.
The second room was an improvement, it was clean and smelled much better though the bathroom door was rusted and difficult to close. Unfortunately, we also noticed that the water had an odd taste when brushing our teeth.
