We had a leak in our room. Looking at the ceiling you could tell it had been there. We changed hotels. We are STILL waiting for our refund, but Hotels.com cannot reach the hotel. When i call the hotel to reach the front desk, the phone just hangs up. The only positive was Julie, the clerk, was friendly and professional, and tried to help, but couldn't do anything without the managers approval. But she did get thru and assured us there would be no charge, and yo call Hotels.com for the refund. Still no refund 1 week later.
They gave us room 239 that violates the health code. We felt a puddle by the sink when we first got to the room and reported it. When we got back to the room, it was raining outside and there was a steady drip from the ceiling to the carpet.
We stayed at another hotel in town, which was great but more than our budget.
If you want to verify, please call the hotel. Good luck getting thru. It is a mismanaged dump. I am now pursuing every way i can to get a refund from Choice hotels. They say get it from Hotels.com, but Hotels.com says i can't get it unless the property manager approves it. Neither is taking responsibility and i am stuck in the endless loop. Hotels.com gets a 1 on this too for offering this dump and not backing their customers. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
