My issue was with the check in. It was at an outside window like a drive thru and it was 35 degrees outside and would not allow entry to the lobby check in desk. I'm assuming it has to be a safety measure but once my license and credit card slides through the small opening in the window and you see I have a reservation that is fully paid online, the safety issue should not be a concern and the guest should be allowed inside rather than out in the cold. No other hotel in the are does this and I travel 3 months out of the year and never experienced another hotel anywhere that does this. I asked the clerk if I could wait inside but he refused so I ended up choosing to wait in my car during the check in process rather than stand in the cold. Good thing I did bc the check in process took about 10 minutes and I was the only person checking in.
