The bed in our room has a sheet metal trim around the base to prevent the need to clean under it. The sheet metal bangs and clangs when you roll over in the night, so we slept very poorly as a result of the noise.
The bathtub has an apparent non-skid texture, but it has been scrubbed so many times it is no longer non-skid. It is dangerously slippery when wet, but it does not look like it will be. It is a bad accident waiting to happen.
There is mold around the bathroom window that the maids have not bothered to clean off.
When I complained to the staff when I checked out (morning of Sept 3), the staff responded with a hostile attitude. I was told that the "Wyndham corporation does not require the hotel to have rubber mats to make the shower less slippery," as if the absence of such a requirement is a fine reason to allow a dangerous situation to continue
Regarding the extremely noisy bed, I was told that no one had complained before, which I think is a lie because no one could sleep well in that bed. When I suggested to the staff that she should come and sit on the bed right now to see for herself, she said, "I don't care to do that," and then walked away.
If this is standard Wyndham Corporation practice regarding guest safety and staff interactions with guests, I will not choose to stay in any Wyndham hotel again.
