At first glance, this seemed like a good option to stay for family weekend for Purdue University, due to the price. Other hotels were over $500 per night which is ridiculous. We entered the room which looked nice but then realized that the floors were not just dirty but sticky. Then, we saw a sign that said if you stayed less than 7 days they only due light housekeeping but that had to be requested. When I asked for towels from the maid she said I had to talk to the front desk. The first night I could not sleep due to the traffic on the 65 highway. I tried ear plugs that didn't work. I called downstairs and was told that because my room was "prepaid" I could not change rooms. When I explained I couldn't sleep due to the noise, she said we don't have any more of "your room type." When I asked her to clarify she just kept repeating "you prepaid." So, I directly asked, "So, because I booked on Expedia, I get the highway side of the building?" Again, same answer. When I said I would pay more, she said "I don't know how to do that you have to talk to the staff in the morning." Next the breakfast was terrible. Make sure if you are staying here to ask for the "NON HIGHWAY SIDE OF THE BUILDING" when you check in. Breakfast: Eggs were over cooked, and the bacon, potatoes, sausage were cold. If you just want a muffin and coffee you might be okay. This hotel is close in distance 8 miles from Purdue it took 20-25 minutes back and forth to get to campus which means we lost time driving.
