Lovely stay for our first night back in NS. Had great food and beers in the evening and the staff were excellent and friendly. The owner made us feel like regular. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Highly recommend for staying and eating. 10 out of 10.

Just a one night stay before we flew back home. Convenient for Halifax Airport (it is only 15 minutes away). Entry is via codes for the main and bedroom doors; we didn’t have any physical contact with the hosts. Breakfast is provided and consists of muffins, cereal bars and fruit and was in the in room fridge. Tea and coffee is from a communal area. I guess most people stay for the airport.

Very easy self check in. The owner let us check in early which was fabulous. The place is very quaint and cute, great for couples. It has the bar underneath which we unfortunately were pressed for time this time but we will definitely be back again to give it a shot!

We arrived after midnight but it was very easy to access our room. The space was sufficient but the bed was very low to the ground. Almost had to roll out on to the floor to get out of it.

So the self checkout is pretty good. That does mean that you don’t get to talk to any staff, but they do provide a phone number. One thing I will say so that people don’t get confused like I did. The breakfast is literally a basket of little snacks in the fridge. It’s not like actual breakfast so really the fact that they call themselves a bed-and-breakfast is a little wild. The bed is also very low to the ground. And they don’t have any plates or anything like that so if you wanna heat up any food, you better have them by yourself. Otherwise, nice place for a little one night stay after the airport.

Breakfast could have been better (muffins, yogurt and fruits). Self-checkout with a code and no one around on days when the restaurant is closed, so it is not your typical B&B. Other than that, the room and bathroom were both huge and very clean! Very busy road: ok for sleep, not so much for relaxing on the balcony...

The B&B is in a great location, overlooking a lake, and there is a restaurant right there to enjoy good food and music. The common room in the B&B is cozy and comfortable, with a nice deck overlooking the lake. We were in the upstairs room, which was very spacious and well decorated.
