The Fairfield did a decent job overall, but it borderlines on being another Budget-Type Inn with a price more in line with a moderate level Hotel. Outside is a pale pastel yellow with a basic entry way and small front desk area. The clerk was terrific-nice greeting. The hallway to the room was a dark, 70’s vibe yellow. The room was comfortable, especially the bed and bedding. Good water pressure for the shower. Again, nothing luxurious but it was good enough. The floors reverberated even light steps onto the floor. I easily heard the people directly above me. Thank goodness, there were no kids screaming or adults fighting. The curtains definitely cut out the Sunrise. The room was clean/spotless…you could tell the housekeeping staff do their job well. The dining area is basic with basic offerings of eggs/sausage, dry biscuits and something that’s supposed to be gravy. Some fruit is offered as well. Again, nothing fancy. My biggest priorities are the cleanliness of the room and comfort of the bed…this is why I gave it a 4/5…the rest are minor ‘gripes’ if you will. However, for the money, I’ll try someplace else next time.
