This stay was affordable and convenient. The staff was great. The room was small but enough space for a quick stay. The bathroom was very nice. Overall a I had very good stay.

The room was a remodeled old style single level motel that had a large flat screen tv that had a signal on the first day, but not on the second day. I went to ask about it, but nobody was in the office for hours, so I left a note that was ignored by the staff. The bathroom was the nicest thing about the room, but the shower drain was partially clogged. The beds were comfortable enough, but there wasn't any place to put anything, because there weren't any tables or shelves by or between the beds. In fact there wasn't a table or chair or anywhere to sit but on the beds. I would give 2 stars if there was even a single bar of soap, or shampoo. There was a small refrigerator and a microwave so it wasn't totally bad. I wouldn't recommend this motel to save a few $ over the nicer places to stay in Alturas.

The motel is actually quite nice, and my room was up to date. The room was on the small side, yet, the furnishings made it feel comparable to other hotels in this price range. Alturas is a city in transition, and some of the area near the hotel seemed a little sketchy -- but there's not much that a motel could be expected to do about that. All things considered, it met my expectations.
