For being Victoria's oldest licensed hotel at almost 200 years old, it's held up extremely well.
Pros:
Reasonably priced per night, staff were very friendly, walkable to town centre with many unique shops close by.
Food in the restaurant was the usual pub fare, however, be careful when ordering the chicken parma. They were MASSIVE. They could easily be shared by two. Even nearby tables were laughing at how big they were.
Cons:
Bathrooms are odd. Tiny. The shower stall was sunken about 4 inches (10 cm) below ground/grade. We have no idea why, but an accident waiting to happen getting in and out of. Easy to trip and fall if not looking. The shower head was also very low. One of average height would need to bend down to get under it.
Otherwise, a lovely stay at this hotel.
