The only reason we selected this place was because it is convenient to our places of interest. Stayed here a few times, each time we say we won't be back and this time we mean it. TV didn't work first night there, they did fix it right away. Did not have wi-fi two nights. First night I reported it and they rebooted their server, or computer or whatever. Second night I said forget it. Worked slowly in the am. Two days in a row we were locked out of our room. I guess they aren't use to people staying 6 nights. Place is old and shows it. Would be good for 1 night but uncomfortable for extended stay.

Shabby. Look for something else

Front desk clerk was disorganized; room smelled strongly of smoke even though we asked for non-smoking - turns out smoking occurs in all the rooms because there is no enforcement; rooms are dated and shabby. You get what you pay for.

on a 1 to 10 for the office (10) cleaning(1)

the hotel itself was very nice and in a good location and the office personnel were very pleasant and accomodating. the cleaning lady for the room does not know her job. the big mirror was all dirty, she left us no cups for soda, only 2 towels in the room for 4 people sharing the room, the pillows were flat as a pancake, we had 2 beds, she made one and not the other, left us no sugar or cream for coffee. we had a good laugh over it all and we made it thru it.

The best I can say is they make an effort to clean. It was good for what we wanted: cheap and a place to sleep, but I would not recommend staying here.

Finally found a shore motel too dumpy for me

About the only good thing I can say is this place was cheap and the sheets looked clean. The tub had paint peeling and we couldn't shower without water shoes on. Some other filmy nastiness was on part of the bathroom tile. Carpet had crusty stains and threadbare spots. Two out of three drawers had no handles. The tv,microwave , fridge, coffee pot, lights and cable box were plugged into a single outlet behind the furniture with an adaptor. Bed was comfortable and AC worked well.

This is my first experience with Motel.It's a quite and calm place.Hotel is not in main road,which is good for family with kids.I unfortunately,booked smoking room online,after I reached I asked for change ,I was given non-smoking room.It still had same type of odor, later doesn't feel any bad at all.Room,bathroom was clean.Staff's are friendly.I would suggest they can have little more better breakfast.Good for price..No complaints at all.

Fine for the price

Sheets were super soft, the room was clean and air conditioning worked well, did not use the pool or any other things at the hotel. Did it's job, we needed 2 quick nights and did not want to spend a fortune - this was fine.

Hotel 911

We have stayed at this motel many times. Always a adventure. This time, not a good one. Room was nice, clean, air conditioning worked well. The problem was the other guests. Had a group of people staying that were fighting, using very bad language. Another guest said they were scared for their safety and checked out. I had my 3 year old at the pool and had to go back to the room because no child should hear that talk. Cops were called, people were arrested. Fun at the hotels. Never again.

Stay away!

To be honest, I never complain but this place was so nasty I felt the need to! It was dirty, stains on the walls, chipping paint on the walls. I felt like I was in a sleazy rent by the hour motel! The price was cheep but not cheep enough! I will never stay at a rodeway in again! Stay away!

Filthy carpet-turned feet almost black Exposed and dusty outlets Busted/rusted hair dryer Dirty mirrors/windows Outdated everything Pool totally unmanaged/unkept Very hard beds No ice bucket & when asked, no help from night staff to obtain one Dangerous shower, no non slip padding or hand rail, almost fell TWICE Overall cleanliness was totally lacking Only plus was no bed bugs or other bugs, that was the first thing checked for.

You get what you pay for

I came to the roadway inn as my boyfriend and I decided to stay the night in jersey at the last minute to go to the shore. We booked the room Thursday for Saturday and I was impressed because of the price. When we got to the room, and we realized there was a few spider webs, and some chipping paint in several areas. I tried not to dwell too hard because I knew we wouldn't be in the room long. The good things were free wifi, a refrigerator (which wasn't really cleaned), and a microwave. We also had cable and we got double beds and I got a great nights sleep.

Clean Hotel, convient to O.C. and surrounding area

We are Seasonal Residents in the area and since the weather has been good, wanted to spend a few more weekends at the shore. The hotel is dated, but clean and comfortable. Check-in was very easy - reservation was in the system and we were warmly welcomed. Upon check-out, staff member asked if we would like coffee to take with us as we were leaving early to be on the road. I would definitely stay here again.

WIFI WOULD NOT WORK. SHOWER HAD A CONSTANT DRIP IN THE TUB THAT LEFT IT WITH A GIANT WATER RING. BATHTUB WAS VERY STAINED AND LOOKED DIRTY. REFRIGERATOR DID NOT WORK. HAD TO KILL SEVERAL STINK BUGS UPON ARRIVING. UNUSUAL ODOR TO THE ROOM. BASE BOARD WAS VERY DETERIORATED AND BATHROMM HAD ALOT OF BROKEN KNOBS ON THE SINK. IN THE BEDROOM PART, THE DOOR TO THE REFRIGERATOR WAS BROKEN. OVERALL...REALLY NEEDS UPDATED, CLEANED AND ISSUES NEED ADDRESSED AS FAR AS THE DETERORIATING OF THE PLACE.
