"Our reservation was for a rooftop duplex room with a view. However, upon arrival at the hotel, we were unfortunately accommodated in a different room in a different building. We were very tired and accepted it without complaining. So, we didn't really care about the view.room clean . "

"This accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and well situated. The bed was so comfy, and we appreciated having the sofa as an alternative to just sitting on the bed. Bathroom was spacious with an hot and powerful shower. Crisp linens and fluffy towels provided. Ample parking and a choice of nearby restaurants. The host was very friendly and hospitable. Having stayed in several accommodations throughout our stay in Albania, this one far surpassed all others yet we paid only a fraction of the price. I can highly recommend to anyone looking for the Vlore area. "

"I liked the view, wi-fi is available, the breakfast is ok, and the parking is available. What I didn’t like: rude staff, noisy, dirty rooms, towels are over used and stained with yellow marks, the sink is unsafe you can’t lean on it and leaks, Miskitos caused bites all over my arms and my legs, using the balcony is not possible due to different insects, no swimming pool it was close all the time I was there for six days, the hotel is not handicap friendly. Overall, pictures online are really deceiving, the hotel needs renovations "

"A good value for money hotel and a convenient stopover on our way to the next destination. The room was spacious, breakfast had a nice variety, and we really enjoyed the pizza bar. The main downside was the air conditioning, although the unit was there, it barely made a difference and the room stayed uncomfortably hot"

"stayed at Hotel Olive in Vlorë from September 6–8, 2025 and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When I checked in, the air conditioner did not work, and the room was unbearably hot. I asked to change rooms but was told none were available. I couldn’t even stay in the room until late in the evening when it was finally fixed. The bathroom was a disaster: the shower flooded the entire floor, there was nowhere to place toiletries, and the soap dispenser was broken and empty. Toilet paper and amenities were nearly finished when I arrived, and the kettle had no cups to use with it. On top of that, the bed and pillows were so uncomfortable I couldn’t get proper rest. The hotel staff did little to address these problems, and the overall communication and service were completely lacking. The conditions made the room uninhabitable, and I ultimately decided to leave early, even knowing I would not get a refund. This is unacceptable, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Lovely comfortable hotel at the end of the promenade near the harbour. I loved the location as it was only a few minutes to the main hustle & bustle of the promenade but at the quiet end so we had peace & quiet. Large comfortable modern room - bed was so soft and had the best night sleep here when travelling around Albania. Shower was great - great quality & lovely soft linen/bedding/towels - large balcony. Although not too much storage/drawers if staying longer. Staff were very nice & friendly. Great breakfast choice. I would 100% stay here again when I return to Vlore. 4 small things missing for me as a Irish/UK traveller - hanging hooks in the room&bathroom for bags/clothes, a long mirror, kettle/tea/coffee and a safe/safety box to store passport & money (as a reassurance no matter where I travel) "
