I recently stayed at this hotel with my sister, and unfortunately, our experience was far from ideal. On the first day, my sister experienced flea bites in her room. At first, we didn’t realize what it was, but once it became clear, we informed the staff. To their credit, they did apologize and moved her to another room. However, that was the extent of the response—no real follow-up or effort to make things right beyond that.
When I asked if there would be any compensation, the reception offered two bottles of wine, which I later found out were worth only HKD 56 total. That felt more like a token gesture than any sincere attempt at service recovery.
As for my own room, it had a strong, unpleasant funk that didn’t go away during the stay. I didn’t ask to change rooms only because I wanted to remain close to my sister.
Overall, this experience left us disappointed. While the staff was polite, the lack of proactive service and minimal compensation for a flea issue made it hard to enjoy the stay. I hope the hotel takes cleanliness and guest satisfaction more seriously in the future.
