Great Hotel. Great service. Great location. Just wish it had not rained my entire time there again. Parking is a bit difficult. And they need to remember to leave the door unlocked from the inside for early departures like me. I actually had to leave through the kitchen back door LOL
This lovely blue hotel is located near the Kasbah, which is a must go monument, and less than 5 mins walk from the entrance of the medina (plus taxi station). The room itself is very simple and neat, the toilet is a little bit humid & water leak after shower but it's OKAY. The water is hot enough to have a soothing bath. It's 5 mins walk to Cafe Clock (a must go as well) and the owner & staffs are all very friendly. The breakfast which cost 70 dirham for 2 person was soooo good, a good start each morning.
The hotel advertised parking near by but there was no parking at all. The streets are crazy busy and there are men hassling you for money to navigate you out of the streets, impossible to drive through. It’s not a hotel standard, it is a hostel. The room was small and already in a bad condition, warm water lasts about 10 mins. There is construction on site and we had to listen to loud banging noise until late at night, there was dust and cement everywhere. It’s dirty. The staff barley speaks English and the man that checked us in was very strange. I gave my laundry to be washed and was reassured that it would be ready the next day but no one could find it the next day and had to wait one more day. It was returned to me wet and dirty! I was very upset. I strongly recommend not to stay there.
Good location My room was changed twice - once without my permission (to a worse room) and the other time because they had overbooked and needed my room.
I felt this hotel is more like a hostel with single room. Door cannot be closed properly, and room can be seen from outside even if curtain is closed. Hotel staff is sort of unfriendly. There was no explanation about the hotel itself such as check-out time, available service, etc. Just got room key only.
After checking in, someone insist to help us to take the luggage upstairs. We gave 20DH for that and he asked for 50, we said no and he keep asking which make us very uncomfortable . Then we asked the owner where to exchange money near by. He lied to us saying that the money exchange outside will be closed these 2 days and offered a very poor rate for us to exchange. Apparently the money exchange are still opened when we go out and even a random restaurant we went in offered us a better rate. The door of the hotel room cannot be locked properly. We are still able to open it from the outside even when it is ‘locked’. Which make us feel very unsafe to stay in this hotel. The room is dirty and old especially the toilet, it looks like public bathrooms. At the end we gave up the 2 nights and changed to another hotel.
Très bien situé Personnel accueillant et sympathique.
