I was passing through town when I was in an accident and had to go to the Emergency Room for a broken arm. My daughter booked the room for me. When I arrived with my arm bandaged up, there was confusion as to what room I would be given. My daughter had asked for a ground-floor room. They had put me on the third floor.
After going round and round with the attendant on duty, she stated that the ground floor would have to go downstairs. I then stated that I wanted a room on the floor I walked in on. She noted that the floor I walked in on was the second floor.
Why she couldn't have stated that, to begin with, I don't know why. Once the room was assigned, I was told it would have two queen beds instead of one king, which was fine. I just needed a room to rest. When I got ready to go and get my items from the car, I requested assistance to bring them in. They said NO. I am over 75 years old with a broken arm, in pain, and they would not assist me. I asked for assistance getting food from their restaurant and again was told NO by staff, even though no one was around. While the bed was good the facility itself was old and dilapidated. The customer service was non-existent.
