I had high hopes for my first stay here, especially considering the $400 nightly rate and additional $75 for parking. I typically stay at the Sofitel or Mandarin when I visit, but wanted to try something new. Unfortunately, the experience fell short.
Despite booking a standard room well in advance, I was placed in an accessible room upon arrival — something I didn’t request or need. I understand that hotels can occasionally become overbooked, but for the price and expectations set by this property, I would have appreciated proactive communication or at least a partial accommodation for the inconvenience.
The room layout and features were clearly not designed for a standard guest experience, and overall, it made my stay feel less than comfortable. It’s disappointing that my first impression at this property was marked by what felt like a lack of care in room assignment and guest satisfaction.
I hope future guests are given the experience they actually book — especially at this price point.
