I have mixed feelings about my stay here. While it's gorgeous, and someone named Claudia was really helpful and good at communication leading up to the stay, and I really loved the owner Antonio, I had an unfortunate experience. My clothes were stuck in their washer sopping wet at nearly 9pm, and I was to leave the next morning. They needed to lay out to dry overnight. I messaged the staff and was later able to call an emergency number. The owners came over and got them out. I had broken off the handle, which I paid for. The owners do not speak English so thank goodness for translation apps.
But it was a message I received from someone who works there that irked me. She let me know the next day that this was not an emergency. Apparently, only health issues are an emergency. And then she added that the owner was kind enough to pick me up at the train station and drop me off free of charge. What does that have to do with the washing machine? I was grateful, but I never asked him to pick me up. I asked how I could get a taxi. Just felt like she threw that in my face when I was clearly having a stressful experience that didn't end well.
As mentioned, the owner Antonio was sweet as apple pie, so I hate to say anything bad about the property, but I thought that message from the staff (not Claudia) was not very kind and therefore I would not return there for another stay.
