Una buena experiencia. El chico de recepción es muy amable y aunque no habla mucho español, lo intenta. Muy tradicional todo. El resutarante sirvió las mejores comidas de todo nuestro viaje por Japón.

Sans hésitation, allez-y les yeux fermés. Excellente expérience à tous les niveaux. Les repas du soir, le petit déjeuner, le bain privé, l'emplacement, l'accueil et la serviabilité de Meyaw. Il faut quand même faire attention : l'hôtel est situé à Gora, qui est très très en pente. C'est facile si vous êtes véhiculés, sinon ça peut être vraiment galère.

The property was absolutely wonderful. We had the best host. The traditional, hot spring baths were wonderful That is a traditional Japanese hotel a very comfortable and welcoming, and it made for fantastic memories

スタッフの皆さんが、程良くフレンドリーでとても感じが良かったです。 お部屋も広く、貸切温泉も適温でした。 夕食のお寿司は、口コミ通りにとても美味しかったです。 食事の量も丁度良いと思いました。 朝食も大変美味しかったです。 久しぶりに全てに満足のいくお宿に巡り会えました。 箱根に行く際は是非また使わせていただきます。

Great experience and the food!

Great dinner and excellent breakfast (both at pre-scheduled times). One hour reservation for private use of onsen in the evening and unrestricted gender specific communal use of onsen in the morning.

Amazingly friendly staff. They went out of their way to arrange vegetarian breakfast and dinner for my wife on a short notice. Private onsen after a long day was great. Dinner on both nights had different menu. It was one of the best sushi I ever had. Overall it was a great experience for us!!

The staff were incredibly friendly, spoke English, and explained everything about staying in a ryokan. The room was beautiful and spotless. The food was impeccable. The baths were clean and stocked with products. I truly couldn't recommend this ryokan more. It's a hidden gem. Pro tip: do NOT walk there. The hill is killer - take the cable car.

An amazing place! Impeccable service, fabulous food and the whole place was spotless. It was so peaceful and quiet - a wonderful place to recharge. Such helpful and friendly staff. We were blown away by the whole experience and highly recommend this hotel for a stay and to enjoy master chef Ishida's culinary skills. It's great that you can book the hot spring bath for private use.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was genuinely such an amazing experience, we’re so glad we found this place on our Japan trip. It’s very quiet with not a lot of guests so it’s really tranquil… the food was stupendous and really fresh- the restaurant is a small 8 counter seater and the chef prepares dishes in front of you. The onsen was wonderful and all of the staff were lovely and very welcoming. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here for a relaxing and unique experience!

お食事は、夕食・朝食ともに素晴らしかったです。 客室数が限られているので、通常の貸し切り以外の時間でもほぼ貸し切りで利用できました。 スタッフの方がワンオペで大変かと思いますが、いろいろご対応いただきありがとうございました。 ただ、スタッフが少ないことが理由かと思いますが、お布団の準備がセルフサービスなのは、見直しを検討いただければと。 せっかくおいしい食事とお酒を楽しんでも、そこだけが料金と見合わない気がしてしまいます。 特に、高齢者には階段も含めてつらいのでは、と感じてしまいます（若い人であれば問題ないですが）。

5 Start - Exceptional Stay in Gora, Hakone!

My experience was second to none. The breakfast and dinner service were spectacular. The chefs were real masters of their art. The accommodation and services were amazing. I was treated exceptionally well as a guest at the property. The private onsen is a must-do experience. If I could good a higher rating I would. I will always remember my experience here.

Wow, what a great place! We are very Happy that we found this ryokan, where we stayed for 2 nights. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We were amazed by the Excellent Dinner and breakfast menues, which are prepared live by the Chef. Also nice onsen in the facility which you can book all for yourself. So far the Highlight of our Japan vacation. Would definitely recommend this place! BR Simon

This place is Amazing! It's a little hard to get to but it's so worth it. The onsen was so much much. They have private reservations that you can bath in private. The room was clean and cozy. Very Japanese traditional setting. The staff was so nice and helpful. The best part was the food. We are a group of foodies from NYC. And we were absolutely impressed with the food. Hands down one ofvthe best! This place is a gem in the mountain. We can't wait to go back.
