Our list of the best restaurants for kids in Koh Samui is pretty sure to satisfy both children and their parents. We all know about the ups and downs parents have to go through when it comes time for dinner as many children are choosy regarding food. Negotiations, ultimatums, and tantrums are, alas, often part of a parent’s duty. Fortunately, going for lunch or dinner with children in almost any restaurant in Thailand allows mom and dad to take a welcomed break…most of the time, anyway.

We’ve come up with this list of where to find the most family-friendly dining venues in Koh Samui. All these restaurants have a children’s menu or, at least, dishes that will please your little ones. Several of them also feature facilities dedicated to kids.

It may not be genuinely exotic, but Central Festival Samui is one of the best places for families to dine with young children. This 90,000-square-metre dining and shopping complex is located in the center of Chaweng and houses at least 20 restaurants, cafés, bakeries and ice cream stalls. It’s sure to provide ample choice for even the pickiest children.

Most of the dining venues available belong to national or international chains, which ensures a certain level of quality and consistency. Another definite plus about Central Festival Samui is that it has children’s playing neighborhoods, cool attractions and gaming arcades.
