    Acapulco Botanical Garden may be one of the most classically romantic sites you can visit in Acapulco, with acres of tropical oasis nestled in the Sierra Madre Mountains. The park is noted, in fact, for its seriously endangered Peltogryne Mexicana, or purpleheart, trees.

    The park is only 10 minutes away from downtown Acapulco but seems like a whole separate world. Be aware that there aren't any restaurants in the garden, so bring a snack.

    La Capilla de la Paz
