Eclipse Sky Bar, located on the 23rd floor of Phnom Penh Tower, reigns as the tallest rooftop bar in Cambodia. Surrounded by glass panels, this award-winning nightlife venue features an alfresco setting with ample lounge seats and tables, an elevated VIP booth, and a futuristic-looking bar as its centrepiece.

A prominent hangout spot amongst affluent locals and expats living in Monivong Boulevard, live band performances are held on most nights from 9pm onwards though you can catch international DJ sets on special occasions such as Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Drinks-wise, there’s a wide selection of cocktails and house wines, as well as local beers and soft drinks, with happy hours that usually run from 5pm to 7pm. You can usually enjoy an up to 30% discount on all drinks except for bottles of wine, spirits and liquor.

The best time to visit Eclipse Sky Bar is during sunset, when you can spot prominent landmarks within Phnom Penh City, such as Independence Monument, Bassac and Mekong Rivers, Central Market (Phsar Thmey), and the Royal Palace.

If you’re here on an empty stomach, Eclipse Sky Bar has an indoor dining section downstairs, which serves Asian and western cuisine such as grilled salmon, pan-seared duck breast, and shrimp skewers. Aside from an a la carte menu, there’s also a selection of 3-course dinners.

Although pricey by Cambodian standards, the stylish setting with breathtaking city views and efficient service makes it well worth the extra splurge. Set along Street 232, Eclipse Sky Bar is accessible within a 10-minute taxi ride from the Independence Monument.
