"I really liked this place, it feels very laid back and chilled. My room was clean tidy, well appointed, and cosy. The staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was ok, not brilliant, but pretty solid. The only thing that could or would be a blessing would be aircon. Because I can well imagine the room be baking hotel in the midst of summer. But apart from that, it's a great little place."

"Wonderfully situated in an out crop of rocks. Staff extremely helpful and friendly, can’t rate them highly enough. Good choices of food at both breakfast and dinner. It’s a 2 day drive from Windhoek but worth it if you want to visit Fish River Canyon"

"The roadhouse is quirky but fun. Staff were mostly friendly and competent, food was good, and our hotel room was comfortable. Remarkable considering how isolated it is. After a long day’s drive, it really felt like an oasis!"

"Accidentally booked a chalet which turned out to be an incredible accident, Bring snacks if you can as I opted out of driving back to the lodge for dinner. Chalet was just too epic. Gorgeous staff too and tasty breakfast."
