ANDAZ OTTAWA BYWARD MARKET, BY HYATT
10/10 Excellent
"Everything about this room was above standard. When we were notified that the hot tub was closed for repair last minute, we replied it was our anniversary and would like to have a bathtub then in our room. As they are hard to get now at most hotels. Quick response was that we were given a free upgrade with a soaker bath tub. Very nice stay and location is perfect downtown close to shopping and the sports center. "
"I was upgraded by the helpful ladies at reception and offered late checkout given that it was a slower period of the year. There was a problem with the safe in my room and someone came to the rescue within minutes! The friendly bar/restaurant staff enhanced my stay on a frigid December night. The lobby was being renovated so it wasn’t in its usual old school elegant state. Given the hotel’s proximity to restaurants and places of interest, I would definitely recommend the Lord Elgin when visiting Ottawa."
