Built in 1909 it has so much character and felt like I was transported into a French renaissance era and my goodness it was the cleanest place ive stayed in. I’ve been to some 5 star hotels and this was even better!! If I’m ever in Lincoln again I know where I’ll be staying for sure! 10/10"

"With this hotel moving to Wingate from its previous status, the rooms are very nice for a business traveller. The desks, bed, chair, etc were nice for a one-night stay, and the room was kept at a good temperature.
At the same time, there were changes that were being made to the property, leading some things like the ice machine on the second floor to be broken. With how wonderful the manager and staff were, I think these will be resolved sooner rather than later.
I'd definitely stay here again...

"Clean and comfortable enough. Dull, safe location. OK breakfast for this tier of hotel. Some loud guests but was able to drown out their noise with bathroom fan. Front desk staff was very helpful in rebooking me for the same room when I needed to extend my stay one additional night. For a budget stay, this is above average."
