"We like staying at small places away from the city center and this place sure fit that bill! The large stone Inn stands out as you drive into the village, making it easy to find. The room was fresh and new, and the beds were comfy. The bathroom was really nice with a rain shower and spacious. The restaurant was quiet, picturesque, and the food was good. We really enjoyed the staff as they were young and tried hard to please."
"Overall a lovely place to stay in the centre of all the action. The hotel breakfast is definitely worth it. Their Hotel guide states that they have room service but apparently it’s a misprint - it’s not available. It also says they have laundry facilities but they don’t. We were there during a Bank Holiday weekend so the local laundrettes were closed, but there are self service washing machines and driers available at the Market Cross car park that are clean and efficient.
We had a Superior Double room which was very spacious. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful."
"The estate was so nice, the spa was unreal, walk around the grounds was lovely, the tupper bar was so lovely for a few drinks, the food in the bar was amazing, had the nicest lamb shank ever. The leisure centre pool was so nice too, a togs dryer would be a great addition"
