Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne
10/10 Excellent
"Updated to a king supreme room, which was on 14th floor with great views of city. Very large room and large bathroom. Very comfortable bed, everything clean and neat. Bar service very good. Did not have breakfast. Parking next door was a bonus."
"The worst thing was the mattress on the bed. It was so unsupportive I felt my body went into av shape when laying on the bed. The pillow was like a pancake too, so not a great sleep, which kind of defeats the object of the room. The room was a good size and clean. The bathroom had one towel hook so if there is more than one person travelling, it's not great for hanging up the towel. The hotel was in a convenient location."
"Staff were very polite and helpful. We had trouble with our toilet not working on arrival which when reported, maintenance were sent up straight away to rectify. But again on our last day the toilet did not work which was a little frustrating when in a bit of a rush to checkout for flights.
Reported it again on our check out
Otherwise, this hotel is beautiful"
"The room was on the small side but great for one person. Loved the location and easy access to trams and the CBD, short walk to Chinatown, shops, lots of food choices. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a pool but it’s small and a sauna on site. I would not hesitate to stay there again if in the area."
