Improvements to the exterior and windows going on and understandable but kind of sad as the original plantation shutters and luvered doors are a great feature to enjoy the amazing trade winds. What they lack in 5-star amenities, they make up for in historic charm and character. We enjoyed our stay enough to extend it. Highly recommend "
