Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"This is a very special place to stay. If you're ready to unwind and experience being in the jungle surrounded by a lot of peace and nature, but also having lovely amenities, excursions, and wonderful service from the team running the resort, this is the place to visit. We were there for three nights and I am already thinking about when I might be able to come back and enjoy it for longer!"
"Despite 8/10 rating & relatively low price the room was unacceptable. The bed cratered into a huge dip in the very middle, collapsed top to bottom & left to right. Wall 3ft from window so no natural light. Tiny jail sink with only 1x cold tap, no hand towel - only 2 mismatched stained bigger towels. Shower dirty & sheets stained. Cockroaches at night. Reception staff very unfriendly at arrival & no acknowledgement at other times. Working AC & 50m from tour companies the only positive."
"Can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience at Jaguar Creek! Absolutely incredible staff, great communication leading up to my trip, friendly, attentive, and so helpful with anything I enquired about. Spotless room, super cozy bed, delicious food, beautiful trails, and a perfect creek for tubing or taking a little dip. Highly recommend visiting! "
"The property is gorgeous! It was a joy to listen and watch all the birds. Kevin the gardener was a true highlight of our time there. Always willing to stop and talk with us about the birds, the proper way to say Xunantunich and just check in to see how our stay was going. We already miss Falling Leaves and definitely plan to return! "
