We stayed at both the Tanjung Rhu resort in the north and the Riyaz Lavanya. We are a family of 3. This hotel had a very spacious 2 bedroom unit with washer. It was located near restaurants and the beach. Only downside was the lack of a view from our room and this is a busier side of town. The hotel staff were wonderful and the rooms were newer and very clean. The only reason we wouldn’t stay here again is because we enjoyed the north side of Langkawi more than the south side. This beautiful beach front property featuring 2 pools was the perfect place for our family to stay. The staff was helpful, there were plenty of beach/pool loungers and our room was quiet. We highly recommend staying here.

I chose this hotel because it was close to Resorts World, where I was going for a race. It's also conveniently located near the beach and many restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated that they let me check in early after an overnight flight. I also liked their adorable dog and cat.

This place was a gem! The vibes were tropical, the staff was superb. The breakfast came in clutch so we didn't have think about where to eat as soon as we'd wake up. The pool was clean and enjoyable. For the price, fair stay. The breakfast is a Malaysian noodle dish you select the night before. We rented a car, which you would need, or Grab (which is very cheap on the island) to get around, the property is kind of out in the middle of no where. No wash cloths, so bring your own if you need one. Daily housekeeping includes fresh towels and they make your bed, but they don’t touch the bathroom at all. The name "Paretto Seaview Hotel" is little misguiding. After we checked-in only we realized that there are only a few rooms may have the sea view. But, it's only a few minutes walk to the beach, which was really great. The staffs were extremely friendly. And, the person at the front office was extremely helpful. they let us check-in early as well. I would stay again in this hotel.
