"This is a fantastic place to stay. Kangaroos and large sulphur-crested cockatoos feel like part of the cottage itself. You naturally greet the animals as you see them around, and in the early morning you wake up to unique bird sounds that make you feel as if you are in the middle of the forest. The fireplace in the living room is wonderfully warm, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are excellent."

"This mostly went very well. The room was lovely complete with an outside area (with a table and chairs). The bathroom was 'traditional' - it even included a bidet (no I didn't use it). The room was mostly lit by 'lamps' which all worked from the one switch which was very useful. The only let down was that the TV for some reason was only 'standard definition' which meant it only allowed you to watch the ABC, SBS & Channel 9. Very unusual it's safe to say."

"Nice vintage style Motel with Box Hill station easily accessible. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the rooms were very clean and you're in a nice quiet location with surrounding bushland. Highly recommend, especially if you're travelling on a budget as it's so well priced. Will definitely stay again."
