Nightmare Stay: Noise, Cleanliness, and Service Failure
My experience at this hotel was profoundly disappointing, marked by significant cleanliness issues, disruptive noise, and an alarming failure in customer service.
Initial Disruption and Cleanliness Concerns
My stay began poorly when the initial room assigned to me had a powerful, persistent smell of stale cigarette smoke, necessitating an immediate room change. Furthermore, upon checking in around 3 PM, the inner courtyard/pool area was occupied by several guests who were visibly intoxicated, smoking, and talking loudly. The noise from this group echoed unpleasantly throughout the central hotel structure.
Beyond the initial room issue, the cleanliness of the second room was disappointing. I noted a sticky liquid stain on the nightstand and visible hair on the bathroom wall—basic oversights that suggest a lack of thorough housekeeping.
Complete Failure to Address Excessive Noise
The most critical failure was the inability of the front desk staff to resolve an excessive noise complaint. At 10 PM, loud music and conversation began in the room directly next to mine. I called the front desk three times between 10 PM and midnight.
No solutions were offered, and no attempt was made to move me or resolve the disturbance, which continued well past midnight. This constitutes an extreme lapse in security and guest service.
This was a miserable experience marked by poor hygiene and truly awful.
