The setting is beautiful, with a view of Lac Brome.
However, other things are not ideal, especially for the price paid.
*Front desk staff were helpful, but not always with a smile or seeming very happy to help.
*Continental breakfast is not what I would expect from BC Signature Collection - while I understand it's continental, sugary cereal, toasts only... I would expect more. The room for breakfast is beautiful, and quite large, but yet not many table are set and many tables are only for 2. Many families had to just steal chairs and make due at a small table, or move their own tables. There could be more seating available based on the space.
*We were there during the winter holidays, the hotel seemed full. The girl working breakfast was alone and beyond able to keep up. So unfortunately, she was not able to be super friendly... but she couldn't keep up, and no one came to help her.
*Front desk being closed after 10PM isn't ideal when you have questions. And no phones in the rooms seem weird.
*HOt tubs we chose this hotel for that feature, wanted to enjoy the hot tubs where our kids were skiing. That afternoon ended up the hot tubs could not be used as a sewage truck was pupping the septic tank for 3-4 hours. The noise was unbearable from our room and the smell in the hotel, our room and by the hot tub was putrid. When we mentioned our concerned to the supervisor at the front desk, nothing was done except apology.
*Shower in the room was unusable - no pressure or too hot
