Our stay was terrible and the hotel and corporation have been non-responsive in addressing the issue.
Upon arriving we found that we had to drive to register at a separate location. At the second location we had to call and waited a long time for someone to arrive. After driving back to the first location we found that our room had only 1/4 inch of toilet paper, no towels but a hand towel and one washcloth, missing a pillowcase, bed not made well, one thin and stained blanket. We called the other place and were told that we could drive back to get the missing items for our room, but we requested that they be brought. She said she would when she had time, but she never did. We were so tired after 14 hours of driving, so we went to bed. When using the bathroom we saw that the toilet was not just stained, but actually very dirty, as if it had not been cleaned in a couple weeks. Very gross. I got no answer when calling the front desk. Because there were no towels, we could not shower, and we left very early in the morning to go to a gas station for a bathroom with toilet paper.
I repeatedly tried to call the hotel but got no answer. I went to Motel 6 customer care website and although they claim to "take my concerns very seriously" and "care about my experience," three different customer care reps only said to call the hotel, even though I called about a dozen times and no one answered. Horrible experience and customer service from the motel and from corporate. Still waiting!!
