We booked our room at about 7:00 at night after calling about pet-friendly accommodations and double-checking the hotel website to confirm the hotel's policy. When members of our party arrived less than two-hours later, the staff member said our two rooms would not accept our dogs despite all contrary info that had been given us. We were also told that we could not cancel our room within five days of our stay (again, we had booked the room less than two hours prior to our arrival). Not only were we not offered any support or assistance in this regard, but when we talked about our dog possibly sleeping in our vehicle, we were also snidely advised not to do so. We were given no options nor grace after a nine-hour trip that involved a separate accommodation reservation--made four months prior--that was cancelled on us after we were already there. This was a nightmare and we received no compassion, support, or solutions from the staff. When we actually opened the door to the rooms, we found the carpets profusely stained in countless places, rips in the couch, and holes in one of the bedding blankets. These are the rooms that our dogs could not be crated in to sleep for 8 hours?
This was memorable in all the worst ways, and I would advise any future travelers to keep their expectations low if they plan to stay at this hotel.
