Being in a hurry, we forgot to pick up our Tempur-Pedic pillow, which was unmistakable compared to the pillows used in the hotel and also was in a pink silk pillow case. Only about 30 minutes after checkout, we called to ask if they might set it aside for us, but our expensive pillow had magically disappeared. There are cameras in the halls and probably in the elevators as well, but the management told me that we must have dropped the pillow on the way out. We know better. I advised the manager that they have a thief working for them and asked that they make this right by replacing the pillow. They refused. Yes, our mistake for forgetting it, but if you cannot trust the staff to have some integrity and to be honest,....??? Someone should have been fired, or at least the hotel should have made this right by replacing our pillow. Instead, the manager praised the housekeeper as a "very honest housekeeper." Again, they have cameras. They could find out who stole our property instead of gaslighting us, telling us that the pillow was not there so we must have dropped it on the way out. We know exactly where it was in the room. We just forgot to grab it on the way out of the door with our bags.
