Wonderful Hotel
We found the desk clerks to be quite knowledgeable about what was open and when during the holidays. They cheerfully answered all of our questions and gave us very helpful recommendations.
Our room was well laid out . There was a sofa along with a table and chairs. The room also had a wine fridge, nespresso machine and kettle. We had a bit of trouble working the tv but that was probably user malfunction. The one complaint about the room is that the shower is rather small. There is a pool area on the roof. The pool is not deep enough to do more that walk around but there are jacuzzi jets around the sides. When have you ever heard of a hotel breakfast lasting until 3:30 pm? Well, it does at the Fierro. You can choose to eat inside or outside in the lush tropical garden. Once you have sat down the cheerful servers bring you yoghurt. Honestly, it is the best yoghurt we have ever had. We are trying to figure out how to replicate it at home. Then comes the fresh croissants and breads along with jams and of course dulce de leche. Delicious. Fresh squeezed orange juice is perfection. Eggs and pancakes are made to order. It is the perfect start to the day.
There is a reason the Fierro is the number 1 hotel in Buenos Aires, they are, quite simply, the best. This is THE place to stay in Buenos Aires.
