The property is under renovation. Walls preped for repainting and carpet cleaning. Very long check-in procedure. Computer would not pull up the reservation. Manager was wonderful. She re-entered all info and got us registered and keyed. When we got to and opened the unit, it was not prepared for occupation. She walked to our unready unit, met us with the key for a fresh unit, was very sorry about the mix-up and made sure we were comfortable before she went back to the office. During the night some one tried to enter our unit. My challenge was answered by a man who explained he was sorry, he had misread the door number or key number. Next morning the manager had coffee and doughnuts for us and was sorry we had been disturbed (the man had informed her of his error). This is an older motel and as such it needs serious work. Hope the finished work can match the manager.
