The apartment looked amazing in the photos, which is why I booked it. Unfortunately, my experience was very different.
The check-in process was not smooth. When I entered the room, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I requested a different room, but I was told the property was fully booked, so I had no choice but to stay.
Although the air conditioning worked well, the room itself was run down. Many of the fixtures appeared to be made from low-quality materials and were already falling apart. The bathroom was filthy, and the toilet seat was broken and unstable.
I stayed for a week, which gave me enough time to see the overall condition of the property. I was also bitten by insects in both the room and the bathroom, making my stay even more uncomfortable.
The staff worked hard, but it was clear they lacked the proper training, equipment, and cleaning materials to maintain the property to an acceptable standard. Management should invest in professional cleaning and maintenance services rather than relying on cheap labour. Overall, my stay was disappointing and did not match the standard presented in the listing.
