PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING THIS PROPERTY
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel. It was the most disappointing hotel I stayed at during my trip to Italy.
1. Outdated facilities — No fridge, no electric kettle, no elevator, weak water pressure, and extremely small shower space. Instead of key cards, guests are given a physical key.
2. Bug issues — There were many bugs around the property, and I even found dead bugs in the bathroom floor.
3. Poor accessibility and transportation — Without a car, getting to and from the hotel was very difficult. Taxis were supposedly available with advance booking, but they were always fully booked. The route to the hotel includes steep hills/stone stairs. When we asked for help booking a taxi, the staff told us to walk and handed us phone numbers to call ourselves.
4. There was usually only one receptionist, so assistance was slow and the hotel rarely answered the calls.
5. Disappointing breakfast and restaurant — Breakfast was overpriced for the limited selection. Compared to other hotels in Italy, there were very few fruit and vegetable options. The restaurant food was also very salty and expensive for the quality.
6. Underwhelming pool — The pool was just a basic rectangular pool, not heated, and you cannot really enjoy the view while inside it.
Overall, the experience did not match the price or expectations shown in the listing.
