A lovely quiet stay, tasty local food at breakfast and a very friendly welcome (by the hosts and the farm cats!). Don’t miss visiting the Blue John mines and caverns just 5 minutes up the road.

Somewhat isolated, for better and worse. Beautiful, quiet area but no food options if you arrive late in the evening. Nice hosts and lovely breakfast.

A beautiful old house with a spotless room and shower. I also had use of a lovely lounge. The views were fabulous and the hosts went out of their way to make my stay memorable. I highly recommend escaping to Rushop Hall after a day of walking, exploring caves or visiting the amazing sights and towns nearby.

Had an excellent stay, was made to feel very welcome and looked after. It's a wonderfully dark and quiet place at night, slept so well. Breakfasts were lovely. It's well situated for exploring the peaks.

A LOVELY FAMILY RUN Establisment. Wonderful breakfasts, not far to anywhere in the High Peak, close to Castleton and the caves. Jan and Neil are great hosts.

The beautiful location of this inn in the Peak District is rustic yet stunning. The historical buildings are meticulously maintained and the breakfast, made for us by the owners, was delicious. For a quiet night in the English countryside, Rushop Hall is a must.

We had a lovely stay. We were made to feel welcome and our room was lovely. The only issue we had was the noise from neighbouring rooms walking about upstairs and locking/unlocking their door, downside of an older house.

A pleasant stay. After an initial hiccup with our accommodation it was sorted very quickly by Neil for which we were grateful. Would return but would probably return to one of the rooms in the house or the annexe as the Cottage was a little bijou! Very good breakfasts cooked by Jan. Thank you!

Beautiful place, highly recommend! 😍

We stayed for one night for a gig at Peak Cavern. It was a fab location, very peaceful and picturesque! The hosts were lovely and very welcoming! Had a great sleep in a very comfortable bed and then had a delicious breakfast in the morning! Jan's homemade marmalade was to die for, they should consider selling it, we'd definitely have bought a few jars! All in all a great stay and would definitely go back if we visit the area again! 😍

Somewhere to relax and feel spoilt.

Rushop Hall was easier to find than we’d anticipated in its beautiful quiet location. We were immediately welcomed and shown where to park outside our accommodation. The room was spacious, clean and equipped well. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jam, fresh fruit and some provision for vegans. If it hadn’t been for a tight schedule we’d have liked to have stayed longer. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

A diamond in the Dales

It is a lovely B&B. A little remote but beautiful views all around. Stayed two nights in the Boots room. Nice big room with large double bed, little sofa, couple of chairs and a gorgeous deep window sill, perfect for the morning cuppa and views across the fields. Bathroom was a good size as was the shower. Nothing worse than a tiny shower cubicle and this was a nice big space. They are horses and alpacas at the property. The roads to and from are a single track and rather rural. Take is easy and hope you don't meet anything other than a dog walker coming the other way. Breakfast was delicious. Fruit, yoghurt, cereal and a menu of cooked options. Plentiful tea, coffee and toast. Highly recommend a stay here, I definitely go back.
