Was a wonderful the room and easy to walk down the street the party that was across the street didn’t really bother my husband and I since we are heavy sleepers the staff was amazing good breakfast and laundry and pool would definitely come back and stay again was a home away from home

Place is outstanding, 3rd time staying here. Only issue I found was that the bar across the street is quite loud at night. Staff was nice, and the staff for breakfast is super nice and helpful! Would stay again :)

Pros: Simple and functional hotel with excellent location. Minutes to the Medona beach and the rest of downtown area with scores of restaurants and bars. Really nice and accommodating staff. Decent breakfast in the morning with excellent coffee machine. Cons: Karaoke bar next door can be a bit noisy but not a deal breaker.

We had to book short notice, the hotel is within easy walking distance to the Marina. The staff is wonderful. The breakfast was creative, you didn't have the same breakfast every day. We will definatly stay again.

Great breakfast buffet, they are pet friendly and the place is clean and well kept, it always has been that way for the last 15 plus years. My only complaint is the only ice machine was on the 3rd floor and I don’t think it even worked very good. The 1st, 2nd and 4th floor ice machines were removed. I hope they can add at least one more ice machine, that’s important for people that have special food or medicine that needs to be kept cold.

The hotel is under renovations right now, which is not mentioned when booking through Hotels.com. The hotel definitely needs a face lift. Room was ok, service was great, but definitely not staying again until improvements are made.

The staff is amazingly friendly and want everyone one to know how nice, friendly and helpful; they were. Owners or management needs to invest in the property. The Inn was old and nothing like the photo's on Expedia. The rooms are old, smell, lights broken, safe didn't work and probably just needed batteries. Bed linen was stained with black spots as well the comforter and the bathroom dirty. I was there for 1 night of business and the price was still $200.00 with taxes but would only return due to the staff

I normally don’t complain but, I didn’t know it was under remodeling. Once I paid $200 per night, (not expensive but is something) I received an email saying some areas are under remodeling etc… well they never said those areas are the gym, the pool, the dinner area etc.. everything I supposed to do in my stay. Also due the hurricane the cable (tv) was not working, I understand that is not problem at all) also the Buffett was free, well eggs, beans and rice, with cantaloupe and coffee. The only thing working was the internet 🙏, when I try to at least some discount, the front desk staff was nice but the manager attitude was not the best to deal with, like if he was losing money from his pocket. Anyway hopefully they fix the hotel soon or put the rates lower for the issues. Not coming back!

I read most of the reviews before making our reservation and I was concerned about the street noise from the Karaoke Bars. When I did book our stay, I messaged the Hotel and specifically asked for a room away from the street noise. They happily acknowledged my request and ensured me that they could do it. When we arrived, they kept their promise and gave us a nice room on the 4th floor facing the Sunrise. The Hotel itself is nice and clean and a very good value. The Hotel Staff are very nice and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean with newer furniture. We had a slight issue with the shower knob falling off. Maintenance quickly came and fixed it within minutes. The pool, gym and dining room are also nice and well kept. The Breakfast was good and they provided a variety of options that made it more like a Brunch. It’s a very short walk to City Club, Walmart, Chedraui, The Marina, Centro, etc. It’s the first Hotel as you come into town so that’s nice! The only negative issue we had was at check-in. I alway pay at time of booking but decided not to this time because the Peso was going down next to the Dollar. The Hotel’s Credit Card machine was having a communication issue and after an hour, and 5 attempts with 2 different cards and calls to both Credit Card companies and Orbitz it finally went through! My advice is to ALWAYS pay online ahead of time! Despite the negative check-in experience, I would definitely choose the Fairfield Marriott for my next stay.

Upon arrival a day late, I was yelled at by the staff. Going into the room I found that it was I. Disrepair. Took three days trying to get whatever dirt was in one of the drawers to be cleaned out after asking repeatedly. There were scuff marks all over the walls. Lamps were broken. I was becoming so concerned about the state of the room and cleanliness that I lifted the sheets to inspect for bed bugs. I did not find bed bugs but what I did find was appalling. The mattress was severely stained it may as well have come from a dump. While I am on that subject, the view outside was on to an empty lot where there was garbage being dumped and a dirty mattress out there too! Maybe that’s where they got the one for my room. If you can even get breakfast, it’s usually go e early and the trays are not refilled, it’s a terrible excuse for breakfast. You have to wait for plates, cups and cutlery. I asked for a coffee cup and by the time I finally got one the coffee was gone. The rest of the staff was rather nice except that first guy but that set the tone for the entire few days I was there. But the disrepair and overall experience of that place made me desperate to leave so I cancelled the rest of my stay there and move to a much nicer place. I can’t believe this hotel is charging this much for a room per night. If I never stay here again it’ll still be too soon. The whole experience just ruined my time in Cabo and it didn’t get better until I finally moved into another location.
