The views from this hotel are spectacular. We only stayed a night, but check in & out was easy and breakfast was adequate. Overall, a good place to sleep.

Good location close to the gondola, restaurants and a grocery store. The room had everything I expected.
robert, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

I had a great 7 days. A little noise on one night but to be expected. I would stay again.
Paul, 7-night trip

2/10 Poor

Parking. Not sure how the city let's this lodge to operate. The facility has about 94 rooms and inly about 40 parking spaces. Folks have to find off premises parking in the street..The lodge itself is dirty, mold infested. Would stay away.
Salman, 2-night trip

Don’t stay here!!

It was horrible - don’t stay here!
Ashley, 2-night trip

Unbearably hot rooms

The rooms were extremely hot and there was no aircon or fans or ventilation. I had to leave the door open to get a slight breeze in the evening. The cost of the room was excessive for the quality.
Liam, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Stayed in a loft room as that was all available, little bit of a struggle to climb up into bed and not a lot of head space. Maybe more appropriate for the younger generation. Parking was a bit of hit and miss. Great continental breakfast provided.
Brad, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Proximity to town is good, but the rooms are not so clean, no cleaning service, very small bathroom, window shutter broken, tv doesn’t work, breakfast is mediocre.
Martha, 3-night trip

OMG this place is rough!

This is not a hotel, it's a hostel/pack backer lodge. If you're a kid that doesn't care where you stay or fending for yourself, go for it. Uber refused to pick up because of the outrageous steep driveway. I will say the bed was comfy.
James, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The lodge was quaint and in a good location. We were able to walk to town and back in only a few minutes. The rooms are old but the mattresses were comfortable. There was breakfast included in the morning which was basic but a great surprise. The person above our room seemed to walk up and down all day and night creating a creaking noise which was annoying, but what can you do? Because of the price, breakfast, and friendly staff, I would be happy to recommend and stay again. Did I mention the view? Fantastic...!
Paul, 1-night trip

It’s noisy. Rooms are not sound proof, you can hear people walking and talking. If you prefer quiet space so that you can sleep well then this is not a good choice. Good thing is this motel offers free breakfast.
BeeBee, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Location is very convenient, short walk to the Skyline gondola & 10 minutes walk to RealNz Milford sound coach bus pick up. 15 minutes to downtown area. The place is outdated, the carpet is super dirty, lucky we brought our own sleepers, there was coffee stain on our blanket, informed the receptionist & house cleaning but nothing done , was hoping they change for us ! The washroom was clean, would be nice if they put some hooks inside for towels ! The provide body wash but no shampoo or conditioner, need to bring your own,
sally, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Noisy, loud, could hear people above and next door. Dirty room.
