I traveled for business purposes so I did not used all the available resources in the hotel but I had a very good breakfast in the hotel. The staff was very helpful and explained to me where I can find the breakfast room, my room, Wi-Fi password and answered all my questions. I stayed in the new renovated room so if you are going to be locked in one of them the shower will turn with a few minutes delay which is normal so be patient. There is lactose free milk for breakfast too. I do recommend the hotel very much.

Old hotel

I don't know if there are any rooms in the main building but I was in the neighbouring building in a small room on the second floor. I know the hotel is old, but the room really need some spicing up. The whole atmosphere is early 70s. Breakfast is good with all you can ask for. Even the bacon was nicely cooked, not the sloppy strips you get in so many hotels. Next time I will try to get another room in the annex. These room seem more modern.

Stayed in one of the apartments on the other side of the street. Apartment size and standard was OK, it was missing some of the accessories you expect from an apartment, like washing up detergent, dish cloth and extra sheets and duvet cover to make up the extra sofa bed. We reported this and the staff sorted it out. The Wi-Fi was absolutely unusable, as was the TV which complained about the cable connection. Parking behind the appartement in the SuperBrugsen parking area was free and good. Some traffic noise from the street, but it is "downtown" so to be expected, had to have the window open to cool down the room.

Hotel is in the city centre where there are restrictions on driving. Took a while to find the hotel but once there the receptionist(s) were extremely helpful and accommodating. We had a lovely large room and a lovely meal in their restaurant/bar.

stop and relax

very pleasant hotel in an interesting little town. The hotel bar has an English theme. We were accommodated in the annexe which is a short walk from the main hotel (50M) We were travelling on motorbikes so I am unsure of the parking situation for cars. If you are thinking of visiting the bunker museum you should check the opening hours as they are limited. We were here in early May so it may change in the high season.

This review is for the apartment #101 in the Annex, which we were told has only been available since May, 2025. Although it appeared to be newly renovated, the decor was tacky, cheap, and not well thought out. In the kitchen there was no dish soap, no dish scrubber, no dish towels, and minimal cooking utensils. There was a small bottle of olive oil, but no salt, pepper, or other spices or condiments. The lamp hanging above the small dining table was just a bare bulb at face level, very obnoxious. The bedside tables were tiny and barely reachable from the bed. The window blinds in the bathroom could not be closed for privacy. There were several empty vases on the window ledges, and all the vases had to be removed and put on the floor in order to close the any of the blinds. Although this apartment has potential, it needs a lot of work before it would be a satisfactory lodging.

Pænt værelse. Alt for lidt personale. Der er alt for lidt tid, til de mange gæster. Mangler personale i den grad. Maden manglede også den sidste finish. 1 kok til 50 personer. Personalet leverer, altid smilende og imødekommende. Vi er kommet på hotellet i mange år, men desværre nok sidste gang nu, hvis der ikke bliver ansat tilstrækkeligt personale fremad rettet. Utroligt, st derikke findes personale, der vil arbejde under disse forhold 😝

Bodde två nätter i två olika rum, standardrummet första natten var vi inte alls nöjda med, handtaget löst, sängramen trasig och dammigt på rummet, dessutom rum mot restauranggatan så hördes mycket ljud även med stängda fönster. Andra natten hade vi ett businessrum, det var fräschare och tystare men Wi-Fi funkade sämre här. Blandad gällande personalen, vissa trevliga och hjälpsamma men andra hälsade inte ens. Lite jobbigt med parkering då hotellet inte hade några egna platser utan man fick parkera om efter 3 timmar på dagtid.
