I asked if I could check in 2 hours early. They charged me $15 for this, which was fine because I had a wedding to get ready for. When checking in, multiple sketchy "guests" came in. The first was wearing dirty white socks, no shoes, dirty pants, & complaining about wanting a bigger room with $100 in his hand. A lady came in with barely any clothes on, fly unzipped, & also no shoes, saying she was accused of vaping in her room(she was holding a pack of cigarettes which she proceeded to dump on the floor). Staff asked how many people were "living" in her room with her. When they finally finished w/ these people, they got me into my room. On the way there, there was another shoeless man writing a threatening message to another guest in large print. When I walked in, the smell of extremely strong cleaning products was overwhelming- I could barely breathe. I turned the AC on and, even though I felt unsafe, I had to prop my door open for air. It was not working and I started feeling lightheaded. The room was dirty despite the smell; there was blood or something on the bottom rim of the toilet and a small smear of it on the wall by the bathroom trash. There was hair everywhere, on the floor, walls, pillows,etc. I asked the owners for help, to get a different room, etc. -they made excuses & said everything was fine. The area was scary & I was afraid my car would get broken into. After an hour, I simply could not stay there & left. I asked for a refund and they declined.
