I would recommend this hotel overall; however, there are a few areas that could be improved.
While the restaurant staff completed their tasks as expected, the service lacked warmth and engagement. There was minimal interaction with guests, limited smiles, and an overall sense that the team was not fully enjoying or confident in their roles. This affected the overall dining experience.
I would like to specifically acknowledge Denzil and the other chefs, who did a great job from the very first day of our visit. Their effort, consistency, truly stood out.
Although the resort is rated as a five-star property, the service in some areas did not fully reflect that standard. The staff appears to lack overall experience and confidence, which understandably comes with time and training.
As examples:
• At checkout, we were not asked about our stay or given an opportunity to share feedback, despite having stayed for 8 nights.
• We had to remind the staff about our food and service discount, as it was not applied automatically.
That said, I would still recommend this resort to guests who are willing to overlook these gaps, as the property itself has strong potential and certain teams are clearly doing a great job 👏
