When we arrived early we asked where we could go to wait for our room to be ready. We were told we could go to the pool area. I asked where it was. We went to go look for it, and upon finding it realized you need a key to get in. We were told “we would have to give you one.” We asked where the pool was why wouldn’t they have told us we needed a key. We were here for a Wedding, which the hotel was aware of as there was a dinner that night at the hotel. At the dinner, a drink was spilled on my husband where it soaked all of his clothes. When I asked the next day if they would clean his shirt, there was much hesitation and they said they would see what they can do as we were leaving the next day, but as it had to be dry cleaned, we decided to just forget it. But we felt it should’ve been offered to clean his clothes as everything he was wearing got so wet he had to change. Next, as the wedding had an early start time and we needed to be ready by noon, It should not have been too difficult to let the cleaning staff know to wait till 12 for the rooms of hotel guests preparing for a wedding. This is a nice property, but overall felt the expectations after reading reviews as well as description of the property were set high and were not met. Front desk staff was efficient but I would not say friendly. Breakfast is nice, varied. Property is clean and rooms are spacious but lack of attention to details was noted.

Die Lage mitten im Ort war kein Problem, unser Fenster ging in den Innenhof. Straßenlärm null, Aussicht allerdings auch null. Der Wellnessbereich ist geteilt in Sauna im obersten Stock und Schwimmbad im Keller. Die Garage ist groß genug geplant, dass man auch mit einem größeren Auto noch gut parken kann. Die Getränkepreise sind moderat auch wenn 1/4 Chardonnay mal eben 17.00 EUR kostet. Das Zimmer selbst war sauber und großzügig bemessen. Allerdings hat selbst die höherpreisige Kategorie Komfort Plus keinen Balkon und keinen Aufzug. Gäste mit körperlichen Einschränkungen sollten das wissen!
