A beautiful heritage hotel retaining so much of the original rooms with tasteful additions to make a truly pleasant stay.

10/10 Exceptional

We loved our stay at the Denison. It had loads of character and thoughtful extras. The room was spacious with period furniture - a cloud-like 4 poster bed, a sofa then a spa bath for more relaxing. The 14' ceilings kept the room comfortably cool so we didn't need the A/C. There was plenty of off street parking. The staff were very welcoming and are working hard on more improvements which didn't affect our stay.

It was a great place to stay over night. Bed was super comfy and the spa bath was relaxing. It’s old school but great for a change and was clean. Will stay again.

8/10 Very good

Really comfortable bed. Floors slope in all directions due to age of the building. The bar fridge is stocked with items for sale, making it difficult to put your own goods in it. It could also do with being made level by use of a false floor. Lighting in the room is dull, could do with bedside tables and lamps.
