Limehome Basel Münzgasse is in the heart of the Old Town and in easy walking distance of many attractions (Kunstmuseum Basel, etc.) and the transport links to go further afield (easy access to trams and the rail station). We found the location ideal for our family trip with our 5-year-old son. The accommodation was very clean, and the kitchen was well enough stocked that we could make meals as and when needed. A very well stocked supermarket is within 30 seconds' walk from the building, and many other shops, restaurants and cafes abound in the area. We shall definitely look to return in the future and strongly recommend it.

Wonderful location and apartment room with restaurants and walking location. Only issue is it is located in a pedestrian area so difficult to call uber for pickups and had to walk toward an area outside the zone. The apartment had everything needed and comfortable except ac felt unaccustomed to cooling the room so windows opened until early in the morning where noise was heard from the deliveries trucks. Pros- inexpensive (not cheap) and in the best location. It’s safe, and can be safely accessed with great internet connectivity. Cons- there is a huge delay between your problem and their solution. Ex: Someone smoked in my room prior - it wasn’t reported so I could be assigned a new room. I had one pillow and need 2. I had one towel - and need 2.

This is a wonderful place. Our room was clean, modern, and spacious. We realized this was an electronic check-in after we arrived. Perhaps we should have read the memo. Traveling from France, our sim card did not work. Thankfully, another group of people were checking in and if it wasn't for their patience and unselfish help, we might have never made it in. Once in, we loved. it. This place is in the heart of the city. Perhaps a couple of extra coffee pods with better instructions would have been nice. Regardless, although a bit pricey, it was awfully nice.

This property was wonderful. The code system is really easy and the room was wonderful. The shower was spacious, our room had wall to wall windows which was gorgeous. The hotel DOES have laundry machines that you can use, even though I couldn’t find that on the listing, which was crucial for us. It’s so close to the daily farmers market, where we picked up breakfast every morning, and the Marktplatz tram stops, so it’s incredibly convenient for getting around. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to everyone.

Tuesday 25 November a manbroke through the first set of doors at the entrance. Was banging on second set and hollaring. I called the police. Terrib.e he was able to zet through a set. Poor quality. Rooms are very small. Housekeepers block the halls with carts, vacuum hoses and cord.
