Great location in characterful hotel. Our sea view was fab. But … struggled to get communication answered especially regarding pick up from station. Only saw staff when booked in and on the off chance on our last day. Place felt good of all hotel reps although room was cleaned while we out each day. Lovely eateries nearby and beaches are walking distance.

Anyone looking at my review may think that I was lazy, just hitting five stars across the survey. Well, quite to the contrary! This is my second stay at La Lacandiera and as I will be 83 years old next year, good Lord willing, I will be back for a third year. Now, I get it that everyone has their own travel objectives and criteria! But for me, boots on the ground, real people experiences, and time smelling the flowers. I'm not a cruise ship kind of guy, so take that for what it's worth. Five stars 🌟 ✨️ 🌟

A very mixed bag. The location is amazing and we had an incredible view from our balcony. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The issue is with the service. I messaged multiple times before arriving to ask for help arranging a transfer from the station. I got no response. There was nobody at the reception when I came to check in (or ever). The hotel was advertised as having a pool. It does not have a pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the terrible service took the gloss off

Nice B&B in a picturesque area.

Scilla is a lovely little town in a good location for some places that we needed to visit. La Lacondiera was quite nice for a B&B in a tiny town. We had a fine room with a sweet tiny balcony with a lovely view. They were very helpful with a few unexpected problems that had nothing to do with them! We may have been the only ones there in Nov. since they set the breakfast buffet only when we said we would be downstairs for it. There is no one there after dark and you use your own key for the front door after hours. The bathroom was very small but workable. It is a fine place.

Fräscht rum . Väldigt liten dusch . Ej för kraftiga. Det fanns ingen utomhus pool som det stod under bekvämligheter och ej heller terrass med utomhus möbler. Det stod på 2 ställe i annonsen att det fanns pool och att det var unikt för detta boende. I annonsen stod det att det fanns frukost tillgänglig och en snackbar/ deli. Det enda som fanns var kaffemaskiner och så fick man kapslar varje dag. Väldigt mysigt läge med promenad avstånd till strand och lite affärer o restauranger café . Personalen var snälla men pratade italienska . Knappt engelska .

På hotels.com står det at det er utendørsbasseng der. Det stemmer ikke! Det står også at det er snackbar på stedet. Det stemmer heller ikke! Ikke noe mat/snacks å få kjøpt. Dårlig av hotels.com dette da vi valgte dette overnattingssteder nettopp pga. basseng og mulighet for kjøp av snack/mat. Rart at det heter B&B når det ikke er frokost/man kan kjøpe frokost.. Problemer med tilsendt kode til inngangsdøren, så måtte ringe verten for ny kode. Ikke noe folk der på kveldstid og knapt på dagtid heller. Det positive med stedet var at rommet var stort og fint, fin balkong og at det var stille og fredelig der.

El servicio del staff es pesimo. Tuvimos que esperar media hora para que alguien aparezca a darnos las llaves de la habitación. El lugar promociona que tiene wifii y aire acondicionado, pero ninguno de los dos andaba. Para rematarla, el breakfast para cuatro personas era un shot de cafe. Al momento del check out, ellos se confundieron cuando tenian que cobrarme, porque no hablaban ni italiano, ni ingles, y despues me llamaron amenazandome con llamar a la policia. NO RECOMENDABLE.

La camera è grande e spaziosa ma il bagno non era molto pulito, sulle mattonelle infatti c'era della muffa e le porte della doccia rimanevano semiaperte e l'acqua usciva sul pavimento, forse per questo c'era muffa e condenza nel bagno. La mattina c'era stato detto che potevamo almeno farci un caffè ma non c'erano i bicchierini per berlo e nessuno a cui chiedere. Al telefono della struttura non rispondono. Peccato perché Scilla è favolosa e anche la vista dalla camera, un poco di attenzione in più per gli ospiti e di pulizia al bagno sarebbe gradita.

La nostra prenotazione non c'era. Dunque non c'era una stanza per noi (famiglia con due bambine piccole). Il personale cortese, Aldo per carità, mortificato x l'errore, ha cercato una struttura alternativa e dopo aver atteso un'ora ci ha proposto una casa privata in centro più o meno allo stesso costo (20€ in meno e senza colazione). Peccato che la nostra prenotazione prevedeva vista mare, vicino alla spiaggia e al ristorante dove volevamo andare e la colazione. Il costo del tragitto (Ape per le salite con figlie e bagagli) per andare alla casa privata a spese nostre... Sicuramente da rivedere qualcosa. Non credo di consigliarlo ai miei conoscenti.
