It's a lovely hotel that's in a very good location in Bernkastel. All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable as was the bedding. Breakfast is good, but not outstanding. At the time stayed, the fresh fruit on offer was being harassed by lots of flies which made it unappealing. I think many people appreciate the wine that is available at breakfast, but it wasn't something that appealed to me. The air conditioning was struggling to keep the room cool in the hot weather, but it was appreciated nonetheless. Our main disappointment was that the rooftop / terrace bar wasn't open for most of our stay which was a shame. For me, it was a lovely hotel, but not quite 5 star rating.

Property is difficult to assess. On the one side Great location, new building, impressive artwork, on the other side not transparent. Room booked was executive room. First room offered was small, no sofa, etc. Claim was that a tiny balcony would make it executive. Upon request, a real executive room was granted. Twice the size and all the advertised features. Room change, wasted time and the impression that we were initially shortchanged. Then, after a long day out we come back to the room - no service. When inquiring at the front desk the young lady there showed real attitude. „You were told.“ „There are cards in the room.“ „This is for sustainability.“ We were not asking for fresh sheets. But making the bed? Cleaning up the room? This was not about sustainability. It was about saving cost. And when your shower has no door, the floor towel gets totally wet. It doesn’t dry up over the day. Again, you feel a little chiseled. Bottom line: This could be a nice hotel, but there is a palpable undercurrent of being „too cute“. At ~ $400 a night this is just ok. This is a nice hotel with a palpable undercurrent to give the guest less then what was bartered for.

Really nice hotel, but the blonde lady at the reception with glasses was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I’ve never experienced anything like it – probably because we were two guys. Terrible attitude, and no matter how good the hotel is, it doesn’t make up for such a rude and prejudiced receptionist. 👎

Meget godt ophold med et dejligt værelse og balkon. Morgenmaden er en af de bedste vi har fået. Vi prøvede ikke spaen fordi der var for varmt. Lidt en gratis omgang med fri minibar, når den kun fyldes op hver anden dag. Daglig rengøring på værelset havde været godt.

Mycket fint och fräscht rum, men en skjutdörr istället för en riktig dörr till badrummet kändes olustig. Skjutdörren hade en glipa på över en centimeter som medgav full insyn. Kändes bara dumt och ogenomtänkt. Spegeln över handfatet satt för långt ifrån och kändes inte heller bekväm. Annars perfekt.

Mycket fint hotell i en vacker och genuin by

Mycket fint hotell som håller en modern och god standard. Fin frukost. Finns cyklar att hyra på hotellet. Minus att det inte fanns dörr till badrum och att produkter och inredning i badrum var bristfälligt. Inga avställningsytor i duschen, fick be om morgonrock och byte av handdukar samt sparsamt utbud av duschprodukter.
